The little red bantam rooster
And puppies are his claim
His job in life is to keep away intruders
Loyal stands proud in his red barn upon the haystack
Best not to go near the puppies, they're his domain
As one innocent bystander found out
What Loyal was all about!
Steer clear says he, "cocka doodle doo" over and over he warns
How dare you come close to his pride - you shall be scorn!
Do not go near
The little pups for fear
Of being pecked on the back by lil Loyal so near
You had better stay back
Or you will be attacked!
Every morning and eve I go to clean
However, I see no puppy poo
How can this be?
Loyal has beat me to the doo!
Puppies have been clucking
Isn't that something?
Have you ever seen a puppy crow?
We will have to rename these puppies McBantams
You just never know . . .
